and that is true. i tried with an old t610 abt a year ago. wd-40 srta works, and then it slowly goes back to normal, and then worse than it ever was before.

“electrical contact cleaner” evapourates to completely touch dry within about 10 secs. it will breakup all the crap in the joystick AND resurface the electrical contacts inside. it fixed myn perfectly, and terchnically, it should last just as long as a brand new joystick would.

No hasle, I just went to the lab next door, took som toluene, a syringe, a needle and dropped some toluene into the joystick-module even without taking the phone apart. If you take down the metal decoration ontop of the phone's front you you will be able to take down the plastic cap and to access the module. Now it works fine! Thanks for the idea. Cost: $0, time 5 min.
